WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE A BETTER ROLE MODEL FOR?

Do you consider yourself to be an influencer or leader?

How influential would you rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10?

Whether you’re aware of it or not, you influence people every day.

Think about it…

Your family. Your children. Your clients. Your team. Your friends.
Your community.

Every interaction you have is an influence situation.

This is especially true when you want to influence or persuade someone in your life, in your business, or even on video to make a change.

The myth about influence is that it doesn’t happen automatically because you
command or demand it and it’s not a one-time occurrence. It develops over
time.

Most people go blindly into these kinds of situations without preparing in
advance how to create an open space to expand their awareness.

The great thing about influence is that it's a skill you can develop and master.

Watch this week's episode to avoid the common mistakes and what to do
instead for your next influence situation.
In order to master the skill of influence or to be a better role model, we have to
remember that change is hard.

It never works when you approach someone by trying to “fix” them or judge
them. You can’t direct the answer for them because change has to occur on
their own terms.

At its core, people change when they see a new opportunity and possibility.

The most powerful influencers instead create an open space for change to
come on its own.

They intentionally create curiosity, engagement and allow others to be
themselves.

They are sympathetic, accepting and nonjudgmental. Most importantly, they
empower others to feel like they are doing it by themselves and follow their
desires with love and encouragement.

For your next influence situation, here are 5 questions to ask yourself and
thoughtfully plan out ahead of time:

1. Who are you trying to a better role model for? Be specific.

2. What beliefs or action are you trying to influence this person to take?

3. Why do you want them to believe or take a certain action?

4. How can you positively frame the benefits for you AND them?

5. What are the future benefits this person will experience?

The best role model’s help others to grow and evolve, to become the very best
expressions of themselves, teach others how to listen to their natural desires,
follow their instincts and embrace the gifts they were born with.

So who do you want to be a better role model for?

As they say, writing anything down makes it more intentional. Post your
comment below who you want to be a better role model for and one action
you can take today!

Always keep radiating your beautiful light with the world living life with passion, purpose, and meaning.

With Love and Belief in YOU,
