I don’t know about you, but growing up I’ve always been intrigued by what makes people successful.
There was even a time when I believed that success belonged to a ‘select few’ that had access to all the available resources, connections, support, talent and skill set. Sound familiar?
Yes, there is no denying having all those factors makes it greatly easier if you have it rather than if you don’t.
However, you and I have both heard real stories and seen people with all the cards stacked in their favor who don’t achieve any success and there are other individuals that come from the most indescribable circumstances who come to achieve greatness and astounding success.
In fact, believing that having all the connections and contacts at the beginning or any of the other cards is the biggest reasons people don’t pursue their dreams or desires in the first place.
What I’ve learned and the reality is success is indiscriminate. It knows no ethnicity, race, gender or boundaries. There is ONE crucial Key element to success.
Find out what the #1 key element to success is in this week's episode!
The #1 key to success is when it becomes a non-negotiable and you’re 100% commitment to your goal, dream, desire.
When it becomes a must rather than a nice to have, you pass the point of no return.
There is no going back. It is your unwavering commitment and willingness to do whatever it takes to find the solutions you need to get you where you want to be.
Your perseverance to keep going no matter how many times you fall flat on your face, belly flop, trip, stumble, you get back up and keep moving forward.
In Success Principles, Jack Canfield talks about 99% sucks, 100% is easy. When you play at the 99% level, you leave room to quit; one foot in, one foot out. This inner conflict grows like cancer bleeding into every aspect of your thoughts, beliefs and actions.
99% level feels painful, a struggle and like a hamster spinning your wheels. You talk yourself in and out of your goal, dream or desire leaving you feeling exhausted with nothing or little to show for it. When you pass the point of no return, it is so deeply rooted in you that it defines and shapes who you are. There are no alternatives. You become very intentional and deliberate in your actions. This is your direction. This is your path. This is where you are destined to go.
When you pass the point of no return, you can see success in your eyes, you can feel in your heart, you can hear it in your words, you experience it in your actions. It’s no mistake when a leader shows up in the room and lights the entire room up. That leader is YOU!
So my questions to you:
Are you past the point of no return?
Are you crystal clear on what your burning desire is?
Can you deeply feel the why behind your burning desire that goes beyond you? Write a list with all your why you want your burning desire and narrow it down to your top 5.
What do you need to do to remind yourself of your why not only in the moments where you feel like you want to throw your hands up an quit, but zoom in your focus every single day to keep you on the path of consistent and deliberate action.
The consistent and deliberate action you take will help you build and develop unwavering belief in yourself, your mission and your purpose.
When you have this unwavering belief in yourself, your vision and your mission, you tap into a super-power ability to move mountains when you have to. You become unstoppable because it goes beyond you.
When you pass the point of no return, you take 100% personal responsibility for everything that you experience in your world. When you take 100% responsibility for everything that shows up in your world, you have faith in yourself that you can handle anything, you will figure it out, and you will find a way. All challenges, struggles and obstacles are opportunities because they are the cause of your future success.
So what will it take for you to stay past the point of no return?
I love to hear from you in the comments below and the ONE promise you are making to yourself.
Always keep radiating your beautiful light to the world living life with passion, purpose and meaning.
