While I love the journey of the #selfmadehustle and getting into the action, in my new age I’ve personally become a HUGE fan of slowing…things…down…

So here we are! Your Official Pink Slip to Step Awayyyy From The Hamster Wheel!
To start, the simplest yet most underutilized tool we have is our breath.Be mindful of your breathing – you are still breathing?!

Either way, sit up straight, feet flat on the floor, shoulders down and slightly back…

Take. A. Deep. Breath.

In…. And Out…

One more just to be sure ;)

In…..Out…..

How easy and quite refreshing!

We are so busy with all of our electronic devices and our “to-do” lists that we miss the subtle clues that are all around us.

When you walk into a room, get a sense of the room, look around you and take a moment to take it in. Open your childlike curiosity as if you are seeing for the first time.

Thomas Edison recognized the power of silence, the power of space and the power of stillness. He even attributed this “creative time” to the innovation and creation of his inventions and patents.

So as you go about your waking day:

  • Practice regularly setting aside time for yourself to do nothing. Put time on your calendar for committed quiet and creative time.
  • And Practice making this time as important a priority as any income producing activity.

Your creativity and mind are like a muscle. Like any fitness expert will tell ya, when you don’t use it, you lose it. It’s your choice.

Always keep radiating your beautiful light to the world living life with passion, purpose and meaning.

IF you loved this video, sharing is caring. Join the community and write down what is One practice you have for nurturing your creativity in the comments below.

With Love and Belief in YOU,

Yelena

“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” – Thomas Edison
