February is my favorite month of the year because of Valentines Day and my birfthday!
This year I will be turning the BIG 3-0!
Rather than throwing a big, fancy party and presents, I’ve decided to take a more unconventional route.
In fact, I’m going to give it all up.
I'm calling it Operation: Act of Kindness. Watch this week's video to see how you can help me bring in my 30's!!
I’m asking my dearest friends, family, and readers to donate up to $30 to help build clean water projects in developing countries. My goal is to raise $2,000. Click Here!
I don’t know if this is the early onset of a mid-life crisis or what, but I have never felt a more intense calling and responsibility to make a positive difference in the world no matter how small it may seem.
The truth is, most of us in the developed world tend to take for granted life’s simpler things like access to clean drinking water.
Here’s a few statistics to remind you how royally blessed you are:
*If you have food in your fridge, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep….you are richer than 75% of the world.
*If you have money in your bank or any cash in your wallet…you are among the top 8% of the world’s wealthy.
*If you can drink from your kitchen faucet whenever you want…you are richer than 1.5 billion people who have no access to clean water at all.
*If you can attend a church or political rally without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death…you have the kind of freedom denied to more than 3 billion people in the world.
*If you can read these words, you are more blessed than 2 billion people who can’t read or receive formal education.
So, if your everyday problems, obstacles and challenges are weighing you down, there are millions of people who would trade places with you in a heart beat – problems and all – and feel they have received a miracle.
If you're ready to make a dent there are two ways you can help!
1. Help support my goal to raise $2,000! (Whether it's ONE dollar or 30, every bit helps!)
